Artist's Comments

This is my first tutorial so bare with me. lol I didn't want this file to be too large so I broke it up into two parts. I'll be adding part two as soon as I can. :)

If this tutorial helps even just one person I succeeded. :D

Check out :iconwindriderx23:'s awesome line art: [link]
Always get permission first before coloring anyone's lines.

*Please forgive any spelling or grammar mistakes. I've been up all night trying to make this thing and my brain is all fuzzy. heheh :) *

Thanks so much to =jwwebb for providing this tip: Instead of using the Paint Bucket tool, use ALT+Backspace to fill with the foreground color (CTRL+Backspace fills with the background color). You won't have to worry about those pesky compressed areas, and you don't have to switch out tools. :)

Here's a tip for the Magic Wand bit that will cut out a step... Instead of using the Paint Bucket tool, use ALT+Backspace to fill with the foreground color (CTRL+Backspace fills with the background color). You won't have to worry about those pesky compressed areas, and you don't have to switch out tools. :)

Sweet tip! Thanks a lot! :D I've added it to the "artist's comments" area. I love learning all those nifty little short-cuts. lol One of my favorite short cuts so far is using the "[" and "]" keys to re-size the paint brush and pencil tools quickly. :)

I didn't draw it, hun. I listed the name of the artist in the tutorial as well as the artist's comments area. :) I'm a colorist, I suck at drawing right now. lol
