Scanned and colored from the Marvel vs Capcom pencil drawing poster bought from Alvin a while back at Comic-Con. I was hoping to have a lot more time to work on this but my current commission schedule doesn't allow for it. So I thought I'd post my progress anyway. Hopefully I'll have the time to go back and finish this eventually.

This was my first time coloring anything of Alvin Lee's and I hope that I'll be able to work with him "for real" some day. It would be a dream come true!

Thanks, Sebas! I'm glad you like my colors. Alvin is AMAZING and it was so much fun coloring his art, though I know I didn't do his drawing justice ...at all. But I know my color work will improve with practice. Hopefully when I get better at coloring I'll come back and finish this image and finally do is drawing justice.

For the moment, you got a good colors. Iim sure that If you improve your techniques your work will be awesome. But, seriously, you did an excelent work in this.

Wow how did you do that background? its flashing and captures the two characters perfect!

Thanks! I wanted to created a radiating light to make the characters "pop". I had some light ray brushes that I've had FOREVER lol but rarely get a chance to use them. This gave me a good opportunity to use them.

I highly recommend having a wide variety of brush types for different looks and textures. It makes a huge difference. I used to color only with Photoshop's default brushes but my work has really improved since I've started finding (and making) my own brushes. Like her leather was a blotchy brush I use now for rough leather texturing. It's amazing how much work it saves to have a bunch of different brushes for painting different types of surfaces.

Anyway, sorry if that's more info then you where after. lol I get "chatty" sometimes.
