If you've commissioned me and feel I'm taking too long, feel free to drop me a note as a "nudge". One of my biggest fears is that I'll forget a commission (as far as I know, I have never forgotten a commission, but it's still a fear I have and I'm sure as I get older it will become more and more likely lol). So if you have commissioned me and feel I've forgotten about you, please send me an email - pester me if you need to. I'd much rather that than actually forget a commission and have you feel that I've robbed you. Again, I don't think I've ever forgotten a commission but it could happen as I'm only human.

It's been a really busy year, and I've done quite a few comic covers and private commissions. I'm sorry for not posting as much, I'll try and post more often. I'm wrapping up a couple of my current commissions and figure it would be a good time to open things back up. Here is a run down of the types of commissions I do:

Drawing Commissions - Black and White

I just wanted to thank everyone who prayed for my grandma to get well. Unfortunately my grandma lost her battle with cancer yesterday, but your prayers, messages, and well wishes have been a great comfort. Thank you for sending your love and support. You guys are making a difficult time a bit easier to bear and it means more to me than you could know.

I wish I could say more, or could leave something witty or insightful or ...something. I just don't think I've been able to let it sink in yet. 

My grandma was an amazing woman. She taught me that women can be tough, that women could be so strong, so smart, and real leaders. She was the glue that held my family together and the strongest person I've ever known. She gave my mom her love of art, who in turn gave me my love of art. For that and all that she's taught me, I will be forever grateful. I wish I had more time, but I'm so glad for the time we had with her.

Due to some life issues I'm going to be closing commissions for a little while. Things have been crazy around here- my grandma has been diagnosed with cancer and has been given just a few weeks left to live. It's been getting progressively worse, and the new diagnosis isn't good.

I'm also so deep in the middle of other real life stuff like planning my wedding - something we can't cancel now that we've set things in motion. Bad timing, horrible timing with my grandma being sick, but what can we do - we've been planning this for years and now it's almost here - I also know she doesn't want us to put our lives on hold. I know she wouldn't want us to cancel our wedding.

But, due to the craziness of my life right now I'm closing down commissions for a bit until things calm down. 

Those who have been in contact with me and have expressed an interest in commissioning me - you're fine and we can move forward with the commissions and getting payments through and the art done. So don't fear, if you've messaged me or emailed me about getting a commission we can move forward and get you on my work schedule/commission list. But any other new commissions from those who haven't contacted me yet aren't being accepted at the moment. 

You'll likely still be seeing new art from me for a while since I have several clients that are on my commission list, and several more have expressed interest in commissioning me, so they will likely be added to my list and I'll be doing some work for them. 

I'll try and be back and accepting more commissions as soon as things in my life get a little less crazy. 

Please, if any of you guys pray, please pray for my grandma. She says "I know what the doctors said, but I'm going to prove them wrong. I'm going to beat this". My grandma is the strongest person I know - if anyone can do it, she can. I've been reading articles on people who have been given very short amounts of time to live and have beat the cancer, it can be done! Please, please pray for her. Send good wishes and strength to her through your prayers - I honestly believe that will help! She needs every bit we can give her - please, if you pray, take a moment of time to pray for her.

*Please note- I can accept Paypal payments only at this time. And - to speed up the process send me the image (as an attachment or as a link) that you want inked or colored. If you want a drawing commission send as much detail about what you want as possible. This will help me determine how long the image will take and therefore I will know what to tell you as far as the price. Please don’t send me a note saying “how much to color a character” or "how much to draw a character" and leave it at that – I need to see the image or get a detailed description of what you want before I can price it, as different types of images take vastly different amounts of time to color, ink, and/or draw.
